WARNER MUSIC  |  502173264481  |  LP  |  Limited Edition
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Sisters Of Mercy's debut album 'First And Last And Always', the main album will be available as a standalone LP in the original gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeve on Black & Red Marbled Vinyl. Formed in Leeds in 1980 by guitarist Gary Marx and vocalist Andrew Eldritch, the band released 'First And Last And Always' in March 1985, the culmination of five years of independent releases that earned them a huge following. Their first release with Warner (who signed them in 1984) reached number 14 in the UK album charts. At this time the band played with Wayne Hussey on guitar and Craig Adams on bass - both of whom later left the band to form The Mission
